Right around the time of year when everyone is starting to don their seasonal frump-wear, the annual three day MidWinter Celtic Music fest comes to town. The band line-up was stellar, and a frolicking good time was had by all. A few photo highlights (with linkage):
Never doubt the power of music to lift one's spirits!
This is lifting my spirits and I wasn't even there!!! Thanks for the cure to Monday blahs.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great way to spend a weekend. Thanks for the links too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous way to celebrate mid-winter, with such great music. (I'm a total sucker for the pipes.) Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteOh, i wish i could have been there, just my cup of tea. Music always hits the spot x
ReplyDelete@ Lisa: always glad to share the things I love!
ReplyDelete@ Linda: Brother's website is quite captivating. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Albannach is one of those bands that are best experienced live ~ oh, the drumming!
@ Lynn: It was fabulous! I'm glad to meet another who runs towards piping, instead of away from it :~)
@ Ruthie: *toasts you with "piping" hot tea* You're right, it does hit the spot!
