In the garden of your springtime
I search for green and
Your palette never fails to please.
(I love the purples too.)
In the garden of your springtime
So many things reflect the color of the sun,
And even rain shines
Like a liquid kiss that whispers… *grow*
Everywhere there are signs of new beginnings
And I feel renewed.
In the garden of your springtime
The whole world shimmers with possibilities…
I really love reading your blog, I feel like I probably make the same comment over and over...beautiful work etc....but I love these kind of posts. They constantly remind me of how simple and gentle things can be when everything has become complicated all of a sudden....thanks
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm usually content with the down time of winter, this time around I feel like I've waited forever for spring and you've summed it up nicely.
ReplyDeleteThe last photo is fascinating. What is it?
Beautiful Donna, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou've so perfectly captured Spring! Thank you for posting this.
ReplyDeleteAnd - yes - I was also trying to figure out what that last image is. Intriguing.
Even your observations are full of poetry! I, too, am curious what that last photo is. Looks like fairy cups full of pills.
ReplyDelete~ Eimear: Please don't feel self-conscious about comments, they are always much appreciated! I think one of the joys of nature photography is that it helps me feel grounded in beauty, if that makes sense!
ReplyDelete~ Aria: Happy Spring Dance :~) I'm just hoping spring stays spring-like for a while, instead of dashing into summer! I have no idea what those pod things are!?!
ReplyDelete~ Linda: Thank you HUGS!
~ Lynn and Lisa: Thank you for the comments. I wish I knew what the pods things are, but they are a mystery to me. There are a handful of them scattered in my front garden. They are cone-shaped and very, very tiny, smaller than a pea. They seem to be growing out of the mulch.
Everyone is blogging about spring flowers!! How lovely! Thankyou for your lovely comment at my blog :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks donna!
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful, words and images both. I'm sitting in my room and it's almost midnight but after reading this I can almost feel the cool spring sunshine :) I especially LOVE that wee daffodil photo with the rain drops on it. Just perfect!
ReplyDelete~ Roisin: Thank you! I, too, have fallen prey to first flowers syndrome and have been clicking away at them with the camera. I've also been playing with some of the photo textures you described in one of your recent posts ~ thank you for that as well!
