I'm pleased to have found a technique that I like to use to transfer photos to canvas, at least on a small scale. The distressed look is intentional, and is well-suited to my theme of "objects and oddities." I've been mounting them like this:
Or using cradled canvas, which I've fallen a little in love with:
I've even gotten a few of them into my Etsy shop!

ReplyDeleteYour new art is beautiful - both framed and on canvas! (Off to check out your shop...)
Happy Autumn!
It's always a pleasure to see you've stopped in for a visit here, Lynn!
DeleteI can't help but feel a little chuffed when I get dressed to dance in public. In general, I lean toward the casual and bling-free side :~)
As for Etsy... It's the first time in a while I've added anything to my shop. I like it there, but I'm not all that good about following through with promo and marketing. Heh.
Happy Autumn to you as well!
