~ The Muse ~
Sometimes she sings in numbers,
Sometimes she whispers words,
Sometimes she chants in colors;
She should never be ignored.

She wears a mask upon her face
But speaks what's on her mind,
She haunts an enigmatic place
You'll never ever find.

Sometimes she wanders solo,
Sometimes she takes a lover;
Once she lets you kiss her lips
You'll never seek another.

  2. @ Ruthie ~ Thank *you* for commenting :~) Those words came out in a rush and they felt... a bit too sing-songy for me, even though they did make sense. I resisted the urge to self-edit and posted them anyway.
